We make games with teeth — narrative-driven worlds carved from myth, ink, and a refusal to let go.
Honey Badgames is a small, stubborn studio building narrative-led games for players who still want to be moved.
We are writers, illustrators, composers and engineers who believe a story told well is worth more than any spectacle. Our work draws from myth, history and the strange weight of ordinary lives.
We work slowly. We finish what we start. And we do not flinch.
A flagship nearing its demo, and a second world taking shape in the dark. Every world begins as a question we cannot stop asking.
Shards of Kronos is a mystical visual novel with elements of psychological horror, location exploration, and puzzles.
Searching for a missing colleague, journalist Elen Orbeli travels to Mindtown — a small research town hidden among sheer cliffs. The trail leads to an old genetics institute, but behind the silence of its staff and residents lies a story tied to Elen's own past.
Explore the town, gather clues, and decide who to trust.
Shards of Kronos is a small independent project made by one or two people. Right now the game is in the stage of writing the script and modeling the locations: we are building the world of Mindtown, its residents, and its history.
We are developing a visual novel with 3D elements and location exploration. Expect plenty of riddles and puzzles, clue-hunting, and several endings that depend on your decisions. We plan to release the game in episodes, gradually revealing the story and opening up new places.
For the voice-over we plan to use AI — for now the budget doesn't allow us to invite professional actors. We will work carefully with the voices and intonation so the dialogue sounds as natural as possible and carries the characters' emotions. If you don't like the voice-over, or prefer to read on your own, it can be switched off in the settings.
There's still a lot of work ahead. Thank you to everyone who follows the project, shares their impressions, and helps us make the game better.
